Childsmile is subject to a comprehensive evaluation supported by funding from the Scottish Government Health Department.
It is important to evaluate programmes to ensure that they are having the intended impact.
It includes a process evaluation to ensure that the delivery is taking place as intended. It informs ongoing improvement and identifies new areas of work.
The structure is an internal research team and collaboration with external academic institutions.
